We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and patient individuals to join our team as bank support staff for a lady who is  non-verbal autism, with epilepsy, and learning disabilities. She requires consistent, person-centred 1-2-1 care to support her in her home and community.

She has many interests, including going for drives in her car, ( driver required ) listening to music on her tape player, enjoys drinking and eating snacks. As well as going for walks (with supervision and encouragement.

Support Needs

• At Home: 1:1 support and In the Community: 2:1 support
• Supervision while eating is essential to reduce the risk of choking or aspiration pneumonia.
• Assistance with bathing (twice daily) and personal care is required for this role

Our client can display challenging behaviour, especially with unfamiliar staff. So a patient, resilient person with prior experience is required Someone who can building trust and rapport is key.

Candidates Will Be:

• Experienced in supporting individuals with autism, epilepsy, and learning disabilities
• Calm, patient, and observant
• Able to follow detailed care plans and safety protocols
• Reliable – routine is key
• Confident working both independently and as part of a team
• Must be female
• Daytime, Evening and Sleep-In ( cover 7 days a week )
