About Us:

We're a pioneering Community Interest Company dedicated to Art, Environment, and Education. Our site is home to world-class contemporary artworks carefully curated within a thriving landscape that promotes biodiversity and supports education for those most in need.

This is your chance to be part of something truly meaningful!

The Role:

As Gardens Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and developing the stunning grounds of the Art Foundation. Leading a small, skilled team, you'll ensure every corner of the garden is impeccably kept, seasonal displays are vibrant, and the environment continues to flourish.

Key responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day care including mowing, planting, weeding, watering, and hedge trimming
  • Supervising and motivating a team of gardeners
  • Managing weekly and monthly schedules
  • Ensuring high health & safety standards
  • Working closely with the Estate’s Natural Landscape Manager and other departments
  • Helping manage the presentation of outdoor artworks
  • Supporting biodiversity and sustainability initiatives

About You:

We’re looking for someone who’s hands-on, experienced, and loves the outdoors. You’ll have a strong knowledge of plants, be confident operating machinery, and have the ability to inspire and lead a team.

You’ll need:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in garden maintenance
  • NVQ Level 3 in Horticulture or similar
  • Knowledge of flora & fauna
  • PA1 & PA6 spraying certification (advantageous)
  • Great communication and organisation skills
  • A proactive attitude with excellent attention to detail

What We Offer:

  • The chance to work on a truly unique project
  • A supportive and creative working environment
  • Beautiful surroundings every day
  • The opportunity to make a real impact on sustainability and education

If you’re ready to grow something extraordinary - for the environment, the community, and your career - we’d love to hear from you.
