Associate Lecturer Cabaret - Guitar / Ukulele Tutor
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our new Cabaret Performance degree. Becoming part of our larger University of Chichester Conservatoire supporting one of the University''s undergraduate degree routes. The programmes adopt a student centric approach to learning and teaching and successful candidates will have experience of delivering high quality, interactive teaching or training activities.
This role will support the department in a range of teaching methods on practical cabaret guitar / ukulele skills. You will be a trained guitarist and ukulele player with a thorough understanding of the integration of guitar and ukulele as a secondary skill in a cabaret setting. This skill is vital to the success of students in the workplace.
Candidates should ideally have an appropriate teaching /or equivalent professional qualifications and experience, with extensive recent relevant teaching / practical experience. It is anticipated that all staff will be engaged with the development of best practice in performance and its assessment, as well as in current developments in pedagogy.
This is a fixed term contract for up to 18 hours per academic year
