This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our new Cabaret Performance degree. Becoming part of our larger University of Chichester Conservatoire supporting one of the University''s undergraduate degree routes. The programmes adopt a student centric approach to learning and teaching and successful candidates will have experience of delivering high quality, interactive teaching or training activities.
This role will support the department in a range of teaching methods on practical cabaret magic skills giving students the chance to create their own individual identity as a performer which is vital in the workplace. You will be a professional magician with a professional background in a cabaret style setting
Candidates should ideally have an appropriate teaching /or equivalent professional qualifications and experience, with extensive recent relevant teaching / practical experience. It is anticipated that all staff will be engaged with the development of best practice in performance and its assessment, as well as in current developments in pedagogy.
This is a fixed term contract for up to 34 hours per academic year
