I am working closely with my client, a reputable company near Cranleigh, for the recruitment of a permanent and full-time Trainee Financial Controller.

Reporting into their Head of Finance, this a truly brilliant opportunity to join the company as a Trainee and progress to Financial Controller and (potentially) FD level further down the line.

The role entails:

• Assisting with the preparation of Budgets and Forecasts
• General Bookkeeping, Accruals & Prepayments
• Payroll
• Bank Reconciliations
• Monthly management accounting

The ideal candidate WILL:

• An excellent academic record (ideally a finance or accounting degree)
• Have already began studying (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or AAT)
• A CV which displays both loyalty and ambition to succeed
• Have some finance experience (ideally 2-3 years spent within a varied role)
• Drive and own a car
• Be systems savvy and have used accounting software in the past
