Our Business Development team have a varied and exciting role to play in proactive corporate sales of both our Entertaining and Hospitality division and our sporting events and activities.
We are now looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to join our close-knit team. You’ll be responsible for proactively selling to and building long term relationships with corporate clients, delivering revenue into the Entertaining and Hospitality division for Meetings, Events and Incentives. You’ll work to a team target and your own personal KPIs.
This will involve proactively promoting Goodwood to corporate businesses which results in sales. You’ll need to have a full understanding of competitor activity and the impact on Goodwood when negotiating with clients.
You can certainly expect no two days to be the same, as you could be networking in London one day, and working at one of our event days the next. Flexibility is therefore required with regard to working hours as this may include weekends. Excellent negotiation and influencing skills across all levels are also key to this role and you’ll be a natural at creating detailed sales plans that deliver revenue.
