MILL CHASE ACADEMY, BORDON

31.25 Hours per week, 39 weeks per annum

Salary: GBP 22,401 to GBP 24,657 per annum pro rata, equates to GBP 16,252 to GBP 17,889 per annum

We are an 11-16 comprehensive school with a passionate commitment to making a difference to children's lives, enabling all pupils to have the highest possible learning experience. Building on our strong foundations, the Inclusion Manager will help continue the upward trend of improvement..

If you feel you have the enthusiasm to help manage and co-ordinate programmes of support and study for pupils referred to the inclusion provision, you will find Mill Chase offers a supportive and dedicated team, excited about continued learning for all.

Essential qualities include:

The ability to effectively communicate with children/young people, school staff and outside agencies. The ability to work with children/young people exhibiting challenging and severe behavioural difficulties. An understanding of child development and learning including Special Educational Needs and also Child Protection Procedures. Experience of mentoring and one to one support with young people, including those with challenging behaviour. The ability to work with parents and carers in order to support the education of the pupils
