A top 20 accountancy firm are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their Business Services Team based in Winchester, Hampshire. This is a great opportunity to work within a fast-growing firm with an excellent reputation.

About you:

• Experienced Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper
• Excellent communication skills and approachable manner
• Ability to work well with all levels of management, staff and clients
• Experience with cloud-based accounting software such as a Xero or Quickbooks
• Should have relevant practice experience

About the role:

• Bookkeeping, VAT returns and maintenance of reconciled trial balances
• Account preparation and tax computations for simple cases
• Clients include companies, partnerships & sole traders
• Reviewing of client bookkeeping and VAT returns
• Preparation of management accounts for review by senior staff
• Dealing with client questions and queries
