Paralegal – Litigation
Bristol

Our client a leading legal international firm are recruiting for a Paralegal with litigation experience for their impressive Bristol office.

The role will include;

• Being the point of contact for the client when the principal fee earner is unavailable
• Chasing/Diarising Court directions
• Obtaining and reviewing medical records
• Liaising with Courts, Claimant solicitors, counsel, witnesses, medical and other experts.

Witnesses/Investigation
• Taking proofs of evidence and drafting statements
• Drafting witness summonses
• Obtaining police reports

Experts
• Arranging appointments for examinations
• Instructing experts

Preparing instructions to Counsel

• Documents/pleadings
• Preparing Disclosure lists
• Drafting pleadings
• Preparing costs budgets

For this position Litigation experience and previous experience of working as a paralegal are essential. You will need excellent relationship and client handling skills and be able to deal confidently and professionally with clients on day to day issues.
