NQ Solicitor -2 PQE

Our client, a top ranking Legal 500 firm are currently recruiting for a NQ Solicitor for their General Recoveries Team.

The role will focus on litigation arising from damage relating to insured property, primarily that damaged by perils such as fire, flood, escape of water and impact by vehicles.

The role requires significant interaction with insurer clients and their Policy Holders; it is an excellent opportunity for a motivated candidate who will be given early responsibility to manage a full case load of litigated matters.

The candidate will have a good background in litigation, running fast and multi-track claims to trial.

The candidate should:

• Be an NQ – 2 Years PQE Solicitor with litigation experience
• Exhibit excellence in analysing cases in detail;
• Be change oriented, with a positive, flexible approach towards the implementation of new initiatives;
• Be IT literate, with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office;
• Be team orientated, with a willingness to share knowledge with and support other members of the team;
• Display an ability to adopt a commercial perspective rather than an 'academic' approach to claims settlement.
• The candidate must have litigation experience in tort and/or contract claims.
