Group Talent & Development Manager - £40k-£47k + bonus - Dorset

Our client is uniquely placed in their market and has experienced unrivalled success in recent years. An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Talent & Development Manager to ensure the successful execution of the global talent & development strategy.

Key accountabilities will include:-
·Talent & Development Strategy: contributing to the development and execution of the global talent and development strategy; ensuring recruitment, development and retention of the best talent to ensure there is a readily available, deep pool of diverse talent to fuel the business into the future
·Leadership development: Define and implement the companies leadership framework in line with the growing and increasingly more global business; including defining competencies and development programmes tailored to business goals and addressing leadership challenges, using a variety of tools and a blended learning approach, e.g. action-learning, coaching, psychometric testing, team development, and development programmes.
·Workforce planning: Ensuring that the organisation is strategically planning for: the required growth in the employee base; the skills and capabilities required; the new countries and locations; and types of positions required.
·Talent pipelines: lead the 6 talent pipelines (Marketing, General Management, HR, Finance, Hotels, Engineering); including forecasting the talent needs such that there is a clear understanding of the talent requirements for today and for the future business; create strategic talent plans to meet those requirements; and implement the required development to deliver a pipeline of talent for the key roles.
·Talent management: Determine the companies definition of potential. Ensure there is mechanisms in place to apply that definition and objectively identify talent at an early stage in the pipeline. Once identified ensure appropriate management and development is in place.
·Succession planning: Accountability for the implementation of the new talent and succession management framework. Including defining and executing a talent pool approach based on individual talent profiles and improving conversion of identified successors.
·Performance management: Developing a global competency framework for the organisation, including leadership, line management and functional capabilities; and driving a performance culture based and implementing processes/systems that align individual performance and rewards to organisational strategic goals.
