Our Consultants advise on all areas of financial planning for individuals and companies, concentrating on investment and pension opportunities with some life and income protection.

In order to give financial advice, consultants must have professional qualifications and follow strict financial industry rules.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

·         contacting clients and setting up meetings, either within an office environment or in clients' homes or business premises;

·         conducting in-depth reviews of clients' financial circumstances, current provision and future aims;

·         analysing information and preparing plans best suited to individual clients' requirements;

·         completing risk analyses;

·         researching the marketplace and providing clients with information on new and existing products and services;

·         designing financial strategies;

·         assisting clients to make informed decisions;

·         researching information from various sources, including providers of financial products;

·         reviewing and responding to clients changing needs and financial circumstances;

·         advising and arranging financial products to meet given or negotiated targets and meeting KPIs as laid down by our client. 

·         liaising with financial services providers;

·         keeping up to date with financial products and legislation;

·         producing financial reports;

·         contacting clients with news of new financial products or changes to legislation that may affect their savings and investments;

·         meeting the regulatory aspects of the role, e.g. requirements for disclosure, costs of the services provided and also the advised products.

·         conducting periodic reviews agreed with clients.

·         Maintaining appropriate skills and knowledge and meeting continuing professional development objectives as required by the FCA.

 

The successful applicant will ideally be diploma qualified with a proven financial advice background.   

Initially the successful candidate will be involved as a para-planner within the analysis process of the firm and this will include technical assistance for the firm and suitability reports for the director.

A remuneration package of £20,000 to £40,000
