My client is looking for a Senior Commercial Manager to join my clients business on an interim basis to ensue the professional commercial competence, compliance, best practice and customer responsiveness in support of business objectives.
You will be responsible for Negotiating prices; terms and conditions, where authorised, ensuring maximum adherence to policy and minimisation of risk as well as supporting other commercial staff as required. The Senior Commercial Manager with work with existing contracts in accordance with company procedures and contractual requirements, to ensure efficient and accurate performance of commercial activities, effective management of post contract change and prompt payment of invoices. It will be you responsibilities to Review, improve and manage efficient commercial processes and procedures. Ensuring compliance with UK Law, including the Export Control Act.
The successful candidates for the position will be numerate, have excellent attention to detail and have the ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally on all commercial matters. A minimum of three years experience in a commercial role, preferably in the Aerospace, Defence or Engineering sectors. If you have experience of aerospace, civil or defence contracting this would be an advantage but having experience of SAP / ERP system is essential
You will need to be security cleared so candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK and be able to obtain Security Clearance
