HR Director - up to £65k + Bonus & excellent benefits package - Dorset

Bond Williams are delighted to be exclusively partnering an international & market leading business. Our client has gone through an aspirational journey that have seen them become a truly global operation.

As HR Director you will be responsible for delivering strategic HR direction to the division spanning all Uk and European sites. You will ensure the implementation of and adherence to the companies HR policies and practices as well as current legislation. The post holder will play an active role as part of the senior leadership team for the division to support the overall business plan.

JOB PURPOSE
·Oversee the smooth running of the daily HR operation across European operations, ensuring that best practice HR policies and procedures are adhered to and that Group HR initiatives are implemented on time and effectively.
·Working with and as part of the senior leadership team to ensure best practice and current legal HR practices are adhered to across the division.
·To deliver a comprehensive HR service to improve business performance and assist in the delivery of the overall business strategy for the operating group.
·To support the management teams on all HR-related initiatives.
·Develop and support the process of succession planning and talent management throughout the division.
·Support the staff grading structure and liaise with the Group Reward Manager to ensure that salaries and benefits are applied consistently and that career paths are transparent.
·Direct & control all team recruitment activities at salaried management level.
·Support interviews for senior/key positions.
·Control & ensure that all disputes, redundancies, tribunal cases and legal settlements are dealt with promptly & correctly.
·Set & deliver the budget annually for all UK HR activities for the division.

A strong candidate for this role must be able to demonstrate a strong employment law knowledge of UK, Germany and other European countries as well as being able to work as a Strategic HR practitioner who can work closely with Divisional Directors and Management Teams to align the HR agenda with business objectives. You will be flexible to UK and European travel.
