Taxation Executive, Exeter, Devon

An international firm who provide tax led financial advice are looking for a Taxation Executive to join their Exeter office.

This will be the sixth introduction Harvey John has made to this firm. A firm which can offer an excellent working environment and with this role, the chance to develop and own an established portfolio.

About You:

* Possibly holding a tax qualification (CTA or ATT) although not essential
* Demonstrable experience of providing tax compliance and an advisory service to clients
* Experience of client contact to develop relationships and offer additional services
* Possibly a background from the Revenue, a financial services business or a firm of accountants
* Staff supervision would be beneficial

This is a great opportunity to work on a broad spectrum of work with a good mix and variety of client.

* Due to a retirement in the team (end January 2015) you will inherit a portfolio of personal tax cases both from a compliance and advisory perspective together with a mix of straightforward cases of SA plus HNWI, non residents, non doms, Capital Gains Tax, foreign income etc.
* Development and investigation of new leads with an active participation in local networking with a view to growing the client base.

The office is a short walk from Exeter Central and Exeter St David's train stations. Ideally you will be able to start with the firm before the end of the year although candidates on a three month notice will be considered.
