Our client are looking for a Field Sales Advisor for the Bristol area to follow up on enquiries, encourage repeat bookings, servicing inbound calls, using our database of schools to conduct sales campaigns as directed and actively searching for new business.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Proactive Selling
Identifying and acting on key sales opportunities to deliver team and individual target
Converting all enquiries into sales whether they are from telephone, web, email or face to face sales. Identifying up-sell opportunities for all products, and switch selling where possible according to the needs of the business
Identifying and maximising cross selling opportunities across all products
Actively seek face to face meetings with party leaders - where deemed logistically appropriate
Committed and driven to achieve challenging targets set by Sales Managers and Sales Management team
Customer Service and Complaint Handling
Providing excellent customer service at all times.
Introduce/sell our product via presentations at parents evenings as well as attending parents information evenings for tours already booked – where deemed logistically appropriate
Deal with complaints and issues timely and efficiently in line with business procedures and profitability.
Maintaining a good working knowledge of all current sales and marketing campaigns whether by brochure or e-marketing
Assisting bookings from point of enquiry through to post tour communication, in liaison with office based Sales Support and Product Delivery teams.
The ideal candidate will fulfil the following criteria;
Have a passion for sales in a demanding and target driven environment.
Knowledge, understanding and experience of a consultative selling approach, with the ability to identify and meet customer needs in order to secure a sale.
Ability to present to groups of people utilising Microsoft PowerPoint and other tools to engage with customers.
A flexible and adaptable approach to the working day, with the ability to manage your time in the most effective and time efficient way in order to utilise your exposure in your geographical area.
Confident, presentable and able to adopt a professional demeanour during face to face meetings with predominately school teachers
A strong sense of personal ownership and initiative in order to drive sales through to completion.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience within the Education and/or travel sector would be a distinct advantage
Good working understanding of office IT products including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and MS PowerPoint
Car driver with full, clean licence – desirable
